The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has named Bukidnon State University (BukSU) as one of the recipients of the Excellence Quality Assurance for Teacher Education (EQUATE) Awards – Elementary Level.
Out of 1,553 higher education institutions (HEIs) in the country, BukSU is among the 120 recognized by CHED “who have gone above and beyond their mission to provide quality education.”
According to CHED Chairperson Dr. J. Prospero “Popoy” E. de Vera III, the awarded institutions have demonstrated their ability to produce educators who meet the evolving demands of the teaching profession.
“These HEIs have met and exceeded national standards for teacher education. It is clear that you are the best of the best,” de Vera said. (BukSU-Information Unit)
