Faculty members of Bukidnon State University participated in the Global Learning Program (GLP) where they delivered lectures to undergraduate students at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Surabaya, Indonesia on September 18-21, 2023.
College of Education-Secondary Education Department Head, Dr. Iris April L. Ramirez gave lectures in Physics. While, the College of Arts-Language and Letters Department Chair, Dr. Salome L. Escalona delivered lectures on English.
The GLP was conducted on-site this year after having been held virtually in 2020 and 2021. In addition to the lectures, this year’s GLP also included activities such as networking events, local tours, and faculty meetings. The said undertaking aimed to enhance collaboration between peers from various institutions participating in the program. It was also an opportunity to provide unique cultural and educational experiences to the guest speakers in Surabaya, Indonesia. (With reports from BukSU IAU)
