MALAYBALAY CITY – One of the notable research accomplishments of Bukidnon State University is putting its publication, the Asia Pacific Journal of Social Behavioral Sciences online.
BukSU researches are now visible in the web thus increasing the chances of these papers to get cited. This is a crucial step as the university aims to contribute to the existing body of knowledge and have significant impact in the wider community.
Moreover, the acceptance of the Asia Pacific Journal of Social and Behavioural Sciences for inclusion in the ASEAN Citation Index (ACI) database is another very significant accomplishment for BukSU. This means that researches submitted in the journal will be featured in ACI starting 2018.
Currently, the Research Unit is implementing the Human Resource Development Framework which aims at developing a pool of trainers that will mentor the BukSU faculty especially on advanced research methodologies. The key steps that the unit is undertaking will hopefully help produce researchers who are able to assist Bukidnon State University in its intent to go global. (By Omar A.
