MALAYBALAY CITY/OP-IPS – The Campus in-charge of Bukidnon State University Alubijid Satellite Campus won best research paper in the Philippine Association of Collegiate Schools of Business during its 49th Annual National Conference, 2nd International Research Summit held at Clark Freeport, Pampanga on April 30, 2022
Dr. Estherlina D. Pontioso Jr, BukSU-Alubijid CIC, won the “Best Research Paper” with a title “Employability and Academic Performance of Financial Management Students vis-a-vis Industry Skills Set Preference” in the international research summit.
The event focused on the theme: “Transformational Business Education in Challenging Times”.
Her study, which was founded on the concept between the employability skills of many baccalaureate degree graduates and the industry skills set preference, has caught the criteria for the research competition under on-site track category.
The competition, which was participated by 31 different collegiate schools of business in the Philippines, envisioned presenting their completed studies aligned to business education.
Four of the 26 delegates from Bukidnon State University’s satellite campuses were paper presenters; Dr. Pontioso, Mr. Daryl M. De Asis, Dr. Jason B. Montecañas, and Dr. Arnel V. Bangis.
Mr. Daryl M. De Asis, Campus In-Charge of BukSU-Cabanglasan, presented a study with a title “Influence of Customer Satisfaction and Perceived Value on Loyalty towards Online Food Delivery Services”.
Dr. Jason B. Montecañas, Campus In-Charge of BukSU-Kadingilan, presented a study with a title “Determinants of Success among Clients of a Trade and Industry Government Agency: A Basis for a Capability Building Program”.
Dr. Arnel V. Bangis, Campus In-Charge BukSU-Kalilangan, presented a study with a title “University Admission Office Delivery of Operational Principles and Practices: Basis for Creating an Action Plan”. The PACSB conference has provided various opportunities to participants in the Philippines, including those from the university’s satellite campuses.
Dr. Albert A. Villanca, BukSU Director for Satellite Campuses has pledged to be more active in the labors of sustainability. Among the plans of the association is to host the next conference in Mindanao. (Daryl Matutes De Asis/CIC-BukSU Cabanglasan)
