Bukidnon State University shows readiness in Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair -Bukidnon

Bukidnon State University (BukSU) showed what he is capable of with his acceptance to the challenge being the host venue of the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair, the country’s biggest service caravan aimed at providing major government services, this time for the people in Bukidnon, on November 11-12, 2023.  

For this 6th leg of the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF), the national secretariat tapped the Office of the 2nd District Representative through Congressman Atty. Jonathan Keith T. Flores to be the local host. Cong. Flores requested Bukidnon State University as the venue of the said event.

BukSU has opened its gates and facilities to the BPSF where 48 Philippine government agencies were dedicated to providing essential services to the people of Bukidnon.

A series of meetings has been conducted by both the national and local secretariat. These meetings were accompanied by numerous ocular visits and inspections throughout the entire main campus. The purpose of these visits was to gain a better understanding and a clear view of the spaces where the agencies will be located. These agencies needed strategic placements based on the number of services they intended to provide and the number of participants they projected to serve.

SMART BukSU President Dr. Joy M. Mirasol and Vice President for Administration and Finance Dante S. Victoria, Jr., proactively engaged, with BukSU personnel responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and security of the University during the BPSF.

VPAF Victoria Jr., emphasized the importance of maintaining venue cleanliness and ensuring the availability of water supply in all comfort rooms.

Malaybaly City Councilor and Retired Brigadier General Royland M. Orquia led the security and traffic management team, along VP Victoria Jr., BukSU DRRMU Head Mr. Rhondell Paraiso, and BukSU Security Services Head Mr. Donald Donasco. Personnel from PNP, PA, BFP, TMC, and other agencies responsible for security and traffic control were also involved.

The team has developed an Incident Action Plan which will be utilized in case of emergencies.

The BPSF is open to public and the mass is advised to pre-register and undergo the registration process.
