MALAYBALAY CITY –The face-to-face celebration of Extension Week featured the Capacity Development projects in the new normal on October 17-21, 2022. This was after two years of hiatus due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The celebration focused on the theme: “Strengthening Collaborations for Sustainable Community Engagement.”
Dr. Joy M. Mirasol, Vice-President for Research, Extension, and Innovations, in her opening remarks, said the activity is fitting, timely, and relevant as “we move forward to a better normal.”
The extension week featured capability development on the enhancement of extension projects for satellite campuses, capability development for the junior extensionists on volunteerism and the relevance of community engagement, virtual capability development on writing impact studies of extension projects, and “Pamahaw ta BukSU: A Breakfast Gathering for an Outreach and Charity Cause.”
The dissemination of extension projects, product exhibits, and recognition of extension partners were also highlighted during the celebration which was participated by internal and external stakeholders of the university.
