MALAYBALAY CITY – Dr. Cecille Marie T. Improgo Secondary Education faculty and CITL Director, and Mr. Rolyverl M. Sawalan, Language and Letters Development faculty, completed the Teacher Training and Workshop on TESOL Methodology from May 15 to 19, 2023.
The said training workshop was sponsored by the United States Embassy through the Regional English Language Office. The event brought together passionate educators from various institutions and took place at the Bayview Park Hotel in Manila.
Dr. Improgo and Mr. Sawalan were exposed to the TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) methodology, innovative instructional strategies, and the latest advancements in language education throughout the whole training. They have also gained invaluable insights and expanded their professional network by engaging in lively discussions, practical workshops, and collaborative activities.
The CITL expressed their gratitude to Bukidnon State University for providing this incredible opportunity to Dr. Improgo and Mr. Sawalan. The support and encouragement offered by BukSU in empowering its faculty members to participate in such enriching programs truly exemplify the institution’s commitment to academic excellence.
