More than 60 members of the Bukidnon Provincial Council of Personnel Officers gathered at Bukidnon State University (BukSU) for their 2nd monthly regular meeting on February 28, 2024.
The event was spearheaded by the Bukidnon Local and National Government Human Resource Management Officer’s Association, Incorporated (BLNGHRMOAI), an organization representing government HR practitioners in Bukidnon, with BukSU as the host venue.

As the backbone of our organization, our roles in shaping the workplace culture are unparalleled. Today’s meeting is a testament to our collective commitment to the field of human resources. Our participation today reflects our intention of enhancing our individual and collective impact in the government service,” said BukSU’s Human Resource Management Director, Dr. Xyle Fe A. Verbal, during her welcome message.
The morning session included the introduction and turn-over ceremony of the new Civil Service Commission (CSC) field director for Bukidnon. Following this, CSC Region 10 Acting Director Noemi Rabe-Torres provided insights into CSC policy updates and other salient human resource programs and innovations.
In the afternoon, Mr. Emmanuel O. Yongco, Acting Assistant Provincial HRMO, presented the findings of the Common Organizational Structure and Staffing Pattern (OSSP) review. The meeting also addressed various HR-related matters and included announcements about upcoming council activities.
The activity was capped with a tour of the Bukidnon Studies Center and the Botanical Gardens and Herbarium. (BukSU-Information Unit)
