The College of Technologies (COT) at Bukidnon State University outlined its strategic plans and responsibilities for the year 2024 during its Operational Planning session held on February 28 at the BukSU Hotel.
Faculty members representing various departments, including BSIT, BSEMC-DAT, BSET, BSAT, BSFT, and the Student Body Organization Officers, participated in identifying strategies to meet the college’s targets for the year.
Included in the discussions was a presentation that reviewed the performance of each department in the fiscal year 2023, which served as initial input for the operational planning of the fiscal year 2024.
During the session, particular attention was given to the identification of mandatory targets for the university, academic targets specific to the COT, and a comprehensive review of Research Extension Production targets and requirements.
The Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) and the Individual Performance Commitment and Review (IPCR) indicators, delineated by rank and Essential Technical and Leadership Skills (ETLS), were also thoroughly discussed.
Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Hazel Jean M. Abejuela, emphasized the importance of teamwork in achieving the objectives set forth.
“The next years will be crucial. Your college has a significant role to fulfill our goals, so we need everyone to contribute and work as a team to achieve these goals,” Abejuela said.
