The orientation prepared student assistants for their roles at Bukidnon State University throughout the summer break.
Mr. Joseph L. Gelacio, Program Chair of Global Excellence, inspired attendees by emphasizing student empowerment and global readiness.
The STEP-UP Guidelines, DTR Procedures, and Accomplishment Report Submission processes were explained by Louie L. Laurilla, Diversity and Inclusion Unit staff, and Vanessa A. Ferre, who presented the Guidelines for Wages Processing.
Dr. Mariza P. Manlagaylay, Director of the Institutional Student Program and Services (ISPS), highlighted the two-way benefit of STEP-UP.
“This orientation marks the beginning of a journey for Bukidnon State University students to gain experience while supporting the university’s commitment to excellence and inclusivity,” she said.
STEP-UP guarantees hands-on experience and a dynamic learning environment among students to level up their professional skills through direct application in a professional setting. (Louie L. Laurilla, Diversity and Inclusion Unit Staff)
