BukSU produces 236 Scopus-Indexed documents addressing all 17 UNSDGs

As of September 17, 2026, Bukidnon State University (BukSU) has produced 236 Scopus-indexed documents addressing all 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These publications contribute evidence and knowledge on critical social, economic, environmental, and governance concerns.

BukSU’s strongest research contribution is to SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, with 47 documents. This is followed by SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals with 24 documents, SDG 4: Quality Education with 23, and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities with 20.

The University also contributes substantially to SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions with 16 documents, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure with 15, and SDG 2: Zero Hunger with 14. These studies support stronger institutions, innovation, food security, and inclusive development.

BukSU’s research further advances SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth with 13 documents, SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production with 11, and SDG 15: Life on Land with 10. Its publications also address poverty, gender equality, clean water and sanitation, affordable and clean energy, sustainable cities and communities, climate action, and life below water.

Through this research portfolio, BukSU provides knowledge that can guide communities, institutions, policymakers, and development partners.
