
Bukidnon State University (BukSU) recognized faculty members and administrative personnel who contributed to 17 project submissions included in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) 2026 during the Gantimpala Agad Award on August 10, 2026.
The recognition covered personnel who served as project proponents and project writers for entries submitted to the WURI 2026 ranking, where BukSU attained an overall ranking within the Top 100 among universities worldwide.
The entries covered WURI categories for digital education, parking technology, cultural heritage, energy management, foresight, student engagement, digital services, water conservation, institutional storytelling, agricultural technology, air-quality monitoring, educational technology and financial literacy. These project rankings ranged from No. 12 to No. 97 in the Top 100.
The Gantimpala Agad Award is BukSU’s mechanism designed to grant immediate recognition to BukSU employees for exemplary performance, timely achievements, and notable contributions to university goals.
