Bukidnon State University, through its Bachelor of Science in Automotive Technology program, recorded a 100% passing rate in the Automotive Servicing National Certificate Level I (NC I) assessment, with all the 30/30 graduating students who met the competency standards prescribed by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
The assessment was conducted from December 2025 to January 2026 at a TESDA-accredited Training Center as part of the program’s competency validation and quality assurance mechanisms. The activity aimed to ensure that students possess the required technical skills, knowledge, and work competencies necessary for entry-level employment in the automotive servicing industry.
This achievement demonstrates the effectiveness of the program’s outcomes-based and competency-based instructional approaches, particularly in aligning classroom instruction, laboratory exercises, and hands-on training with national and industry standards.
The Automotive Technology Department recognized the efforts of Mr. Jeston D. Delos Reyes, ATD Faculty, for conducting free training in Automotive Servicing, which resulted in the 100% passing rate among the students.
This milestone further underscores Bukidnon State University’s commitment to excellence in technical education and its continued efforts to produce competent, certified, and industry-ready automotive professionals who can contribute meaningfully to the workforce.
