Bukidnon State University’s College of Technologies (COT) conducted the College-Operational Planning, Target Setting, and Performance Review on March 19, 2025 to evaluate past performance and refine strategies for continuous improvement at the 4th Floor of Learning Commons II of the University Library, participated by the faculty and department heads from Information Technology (BSIT, BSEMC-DAT), Food Technology (BSFT), Electronics Technology (BSET), and Automotive Technology (BSAT) programs.
Dean of the College of Technologies, Dr. Marilou O. Espina, led the College Performance/ Management Review presentation, outlining key achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement from the previous year.
Dr. Helen P. Garcia, the university’s Planning Officer, defined the mandatory targets guiding the university’s growth and ensuring compliance with institutional and national educational benchmarks.
A series of presentations then focused on refining specific targets across the college’s core academic areas, ensuring alignment with the university’s commitment to academic excellence, research advancement, and community engagement. Academic targets were presented by Dr. Katherine B. Akit, Head of Academic Units. Research targets were presented by Ms. Joan M. Recente, Research and Development Unit (RDU) Director. Extension targets were discussed by Dr. Jiemalyn B. Paulican, Extension Services and Community Engagement Unit (ESCEU) Director, while production targets were presented by Dr. Nestor P. Peñalver Jr. on behalf of Dr. Madelaine S. Dumandan, Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Unit (IPTTU) Director.
Faculty department heads facilitated breakout sessions to set targets and develop action plans tailored to their respective disciplines.
