Four faculty members of the Information Technology Department at Bukidnon State University have recently received their Information Technology (IT) Specialist Certifications from an international certification provider.
Dr. Marilou O. Espina, Dr. Sales G. Aribe, Jr., Mr. Louie Jay S. Labastida, and Mr. Gil Nicholas T. Cagande successfully obtained their IT Specialist Certifications in Databases, Software Development, and Java on March 15 and 18, 2025, through Certiport, a Pearson VUE Business, with sponsorship from the PSITE Academy and IT Works, Inc.
The Information Technology Specialist (ITS) certification is an internationally recognized credential that validates foundational and specialized IT skills across various domains, including Databases, Java Programming, Software Development, Cybersecurity, and Networking.
Dr. Espina and Mr. Cagande achieved their certifications in Databases, while Dr. Aribe earned his certification in Software Development, and Mr. Labastida earned his certification in Java.
