BukSU expands Scopus presence with 58 scholarly documents

A total of 58 documents (i.e., research articles, conference proceedings, book chapters, etc.) authored by a mix of current and former 56 faculty members, staff, and students of Bukidnon State University (BukSU) are now indexed in the Scopus database, with a total citation count of 79 as of February 2025. This marks an improvement from 50 articles in the last quarter of 2024.

A total of 58 documents (i.e., research articles, conference proceedings, book chapters, etc.) authored by a mix of current and former 56 faculty members, staff, and students of Bukidnon State University (BukSU) are now indexed in the Scopus database, with a total citation count of 79 as of February 2025. This marks an improvement from 50 articles in the last quarter of 2024.

Of these documents, the top three papers receiving the highest total citations from documents included in Scopus are as follows:

  • On cyclic B-algebras,”co-authored by Mr. Narciso C. Gonzaga Jr., and“Clique domination in a graph,” co-authored by Teffany V. Daniel (a former BukSU faculty member), published in Applied Mathematical Sciences, Volume 9, Issue 113-116, in 2015, each garnering a total of 11 citations.
  • Facemask: Protection or threat?,” co-authored by Mr. Manuel Anthony P. Jondonero, published in Marine Pollution Bulletin, Volume 188, with seven citations.

  • Mr. Narciso C. Gonzaga, Jr. and Dr. Sales G. Aribe, Jr. with five papers each.
  • Dr. Derren N. Gaylo with four papers.
  • Dr. Joy M. Mirasol, Ms. Jovelin M. Lapates, Dr. Cecille Marie T. Improgo, and Dr. Rozanne Tuesday G. Flores, each with three papers.
