The event, organized by the Physical Educators Association of the Philippines, Inc. The seminar-workshop featured plenary talks and discussions on various topics, including Risk Assessment and Risk Management for Outdoor Activities, Sports Science, Indigenous Dance in Mindanao, Philippine Folk Dance, and Research Presentations.
According to PEAP President Dr. Estela F. Diaz, these sessions “aimed to equip educators and trainers with innovative tools and strategies to empower learners through movement, cultural appreciation, and evidence-based practices.”
BukSU President Dr. Joy M. Mirasol said that the university is committed to creating programs that inspire excellence, inclusivity, and holistic education.
“We hope this conference becomes a space for innovation, collaboration, and meaningful dialogue, where we can shape the future of physical education together,” said Mirasol.
The seminar-workshop also provided a platform for sharing groundbreaking research in the PE field, fostering collaboration among participants.
“The event underscores the importance of addressing the diverse needs of learners in the 21st century while promoting inclusivity and holistic development through Physical Education,” Diaz added. (BukSU-Information Unit)
