The Bukidnon State University-Information Unit (BukSU-IU) conducted a capacity-building program for student writers and faculty members of the BukSU Kalilangan Campus on November 20, 2024. This initiative, part of the Infocamp 2024 program, aimed to enhance the campus’s journalistic and media production capabilities across BukSU campuses.
Twenty-one student writers from the Tanglaw Publication, the official student publication of BukSU Kalilangan, actively participated in the series of lectures and workshops. The Information Unit’s experienced staff, including Ms. Nova Thirdy E. Agravante, Mr. Rodrigo E. Bolivar II, Mr. John Dale S. Belderol, Mr. Mard Aga S. Arellano, and Mr. Engelbert V. Cabunoc, provided comprehensive training on news writing, broadcasting, AI and photo editing, and video editing.
“Our campus is committed to establishing a broadcast program and nurturing our students’ potential in writing and multimedia production. The Information Unit’s expertise is invaluable in achieving this goal,” said Mr. Richard S. Sudario, Director of the BukSU Kalilangan Campus. (BukSU-Information Unit)
