Bukidnon State University (BukSU) has been recognized for its outstanding innovation and leadership at the prestigious World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) Global Conference 2024, held September 24-26, 2024, in Seoul, South Korea.
WURI has invited BukSU to present its innovative initiatives, showcasing successful cases to guide other universities in their development. SMART BukSU President Dr. Joy M. Mirasol presented in the Leadership category, where BukSU ranked 51st globally; Chief Administrative Officer for Administration Division Ms. Rosanna S. Generato highlighted BukSU’s Crisis Management efforts, placing 31st; and Instructor Mr. Joseph L. Gelacio emphasized the university’s commitment to Social Responsibility, earning a global rank of 67th.

WURI commended BukSU for its leadership in the WURI rankings. The WURI office collected 2,916 cases of innovation from 1,072 global universities. This year, 156 university presidents worldwide were invited to present in this activity based on innovativeness, effective implementation, and impact.
With over 200 university presidents and top innovators from around the globe in attendance, BukSU stands tall among the world’s leading universities.
