BUSECO recognizes BukSU for efficient management of energy use

Bukidnon State University (BukSU) has been recognized by the Bukidnon II Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BUSECO) as a key stakeholder in its achievement of being named an outstanding electric cooperative in the country by the National Electrification Administration.

This recognition was highlighted during BUSECO’s 40th Annual General Membership Assembly, held in Manolo Fortich on July 27, 2024, where BukSU was acknowledged as one of the Top Ten High Voltage Consumers.

On behalf of BukSU, the plaque of recognition was received by Ms. Rosanna S. Generato, Chief Administrative Officer for the Administrative Services Division, and Engr. Dan Tumulak, Administrative Officer IV of the General Services Unit.

“Your significant contribution to our electric cooperative has greatly supported the development of our franchise area, improving the lives of our rural folks,” said BUSECO Board Vice President Director Erlinda B. Basera.

The recognition highlights BukSU’s commitment to operational excellence through the efficient management of energy use. It also testifies to the university’s expanding facilities for educational innovations and research, and its dedication to providing outstanding learning experiences to students.
