Bukidnon State University is included among the country’s top universities according to the 2024 edition of the EduRank University Rankings released on February 29, 2024.
The 2024 EduRank University Rankings see BukSU as being 77th in the Philippines and 6th in Northern Mindanao.
A significant contribution to this recognition is the university’s leap in the ‘annual publication and citation counts’ for the last three years, which increased by 300%, a consolidated result in the major topics across liberal arts and social sciences, sociology, political science, psychology, environmental science, law, mathematics, medicine, economics, and development studies.
EDuRank is an independent metric-based ranking of 14,131 universities from 183 countries. The final score of EduRank consists of 45% research performance, 45% non-academic prominence, and 10% alumni score.
“This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the administration, faculty, staff, students, and alumni. It signifies BukSU’s continuing commitment to excellence in research, education, and service,” said Dr. Joy M. Mirasol, University President.
“Let this achievement inspire us to even greater heights. Together, let us build upon this success and solidify BukSU’s position as a leading university in the Philippines. Congratulations, BukSU community!” Mirasol added. (BukSU-Information Unit) (With information from Stepanne M. Bracero)
