MALAYBALAY CITY- Bukidnon State University’s “Asia Pacific Journal of Social and Behavioral Sciences” has been approved as a Crossref member on October 2022.
This is through the efforts of the Research Unit under the Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension, and Innovations to constantly provide opportunities to connect with a global network of online scholarly research.
The said journal aims to provide an avenue for researchers exhibiting emergent breakthroughs in the different disciplines of social and behavioral sciences.
Crossref is an official digital object identifier (DOI) Registration Agency of the International DOI Foundation. It was ran by the Publishers International Linking Association Inc. (PILA) and was launched in early 2000 as a cooperative effort among publishers to enable persistent cross-publisher citation linking in online academic journals. The Crossref organization produces professional and scholarly materials and content since 2000.
The advantages of being a Crossref member include: a) enhancement of organizational content registration, funder registry, similarity check, cited-by, and crossmark; b) creation of a persistent identifier for each citable object publish in APJSBS journal; c) strengthening of APJSBS journal’s mechanism for making research objects easy to find, cite, link, assess, and reuse; d) creation of DOI prefixes through Crossref DOIs, and register content visible to hundreds or organizations in the scholarly ecosystem; e) membership in this organization will help make content more discoverable.
