SEARCH FOR OUSTANDING VOLUNTEERS (SOV)

The Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA) is the government agency mandated to coordinate volunteer programs in the country and to promote volunteerism as a strategy for development. It is an attached agency of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA).

One of the major advocacy programs of the Agency is the Search for Outstanding Volunteers (SOV), an annual program that aims to recognize the exemplary perfomance of Filipino volunteers and their contributions to nation-building.
