RDC-10 holds workshop on BukSU-led research program

The Regional Development Council-10 (RDC-10) held a consultation meeting cum workshop on the RDC-10 sanctioned study on “Multidimensional Analysis of Determinants in the Academic Achievement of Basic Education Learners in Northern Mindanao: Its Implication to Higher Education Institutions.” 

The meeting sought to refine the policy recommendations of the research program, in consultation with key stakeholders, prior to the adoption by the RDC-10 through its Social Development Committee. Participants came from state universities and colleges in the region, the Department of Education 10, the Commission on Higher Education-10, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority-10, and the local government units. 

BukSU, in collaboration with researchers from Camiguin Polytechnic State College, Central Mindanao University, Northwestern Mindanao State College of Science and Technology, and the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines, conducted the research program to address issues and gaps in basic education in Northern Mindanao.
