Overview

Bukidnon State University’s Development Communication department trains ethical and innovative professionals who specialize in social, economic, and political development communication. Through a rigorous curriculum that integrates theory with practical application, the department equips students with the skills and knowledge needed to address complex issues in various sectors.

Graduates are prepared for diverse careers in areas such as public policy, community development, international organizations, media, and non-governmental organizations. The department emphasizes critical thinking, effective communication, and a deep understanding of global development challenges, ensuring that its alumni are capable of making significant contributions to society.

Presently, the department operates under the College of Arts and Sciences. It’s sole program offering—the Bachelor of Science in Development Communication program, is Certified AACCUP Level III Accredited with four years of validity.
