






Bukidnon State University, through the College of Technologies, conducted internship monitoring and industry linkage activities on April 20-25, 2026, in Davao City, Malaybalay City, Cagayan de Oro City, and Cebu City.
The activity aimed to assess the status of fourth-year student interns in their assigned Host Training Establishments and explore possible Memorandum of Agreement partnerships with prospective industry partners.
The visit was led by Dr. Marilou O. Espina, College of Technologies Dean; Dr. Rozanne Tuesday G. Flores, Program Chair for Student Mobility; Louie Jay S. Labastida, OJT Coordinator; Dr. Manuel Chad Agurob, Electronics Technology Department Head; Realino Indapan, Electronics Technology faculty; and Ruby Peralta, OJT Coordinator.
As part of the monitoring, the team checked the students’ workplace adjustment, attendance, assigned tasks, performance, and general welfare. For the linkage activities, the team met with prospective HTEs to discuss internship placement opportunities and possible MOA partnerships.
On April 20, the team visited Infinity Hub and Mugna Tech in Davao City to monitor Information Technology interns. They also met with Cloudline Technologies Inc. for possible Information Technology and Electronics Technology partnerships, and Infosoft for Information Technology.
From April 21 to 22, the activity continued in Malaybalay City, where the team visited local partner offices and establishments hosting student interns.
On April 23, the team proceeded to Cagayan de Oro City. Monitoring visits were conducted at Wela, Datalogix, Logicbase, Syntactics, and Concentrix for Information Technology; Hope Channel for Entertainment and Multimedia Computing; and Mediatrix Multi-Purpose Cooperative. Linkage meetings were also held with 2GO, Datalogix, Concentrix, and Hope Channel for Electronics Technology, and with Yakult Corporation, Zest-O Corporation, Universal Robina Corporation, and G-Store Corporation, a sister company of GAMA Corporation, for Food Technology.
From April 24 to 25, the team visited Cebu City, where Emotton Studio was monitored for Entertainment and Multimedia Computing interns. The team also met with Mata Technologies for Information Technology, InstallerPH Inc. for Information Technology and Electronics Technology, and Grafik 9 Print & Advertising for Information Technology partnerships.
Through the activity, BukSU-COT strengthened student internship supervision, expanded industry connections, and supported workplace-based learning across its technology programs. (BukSU – Information Unit)
