COT faculty complete TESDA Trainer’s Methodology I scholarship under TWSP

The College of Technologies (COT) faculty members completed the Trainer’s Methodology I Scholarship under the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

The following COT faculty members completed the training:

  • Mr. Maximo L. Macalandag Jr. – Trainer’s Methodology in Computer System Servicing
  • Mr. Nicholas S. Carisosa Jr. – Trainer’s Methodology in Driving NC II
  • Mr. Jeston D. Delos Reyes – Trainer’s Methodology in Driving NC II

The training officially commenced on March 22, 2025, and concluded on August 10, 2025, with sessions held every Saturday and Sunday, totaling 264 training hours. The Graduation and Completion Ceremony was held on October 30, 2025, at the Provincial Training Center, Valencia City.

Throughout the program, participants demonstrated competencies in both basic and core areas aligned with TESDA’s national standards:

Basic Competencies

  • Demonstrate understanding of workplace ethics and responsibilities
  • Apply effective communication in workplace scenarios
  • Use digital tools and technologies for professional tasks

Core Competencies

  • Plan Training Session
  • Facilitate Learning Session
  • Supervise Work-based Learning
  • Conduct Competency Assessment
  • Maintain Training Facilities
  • Utilize Electronic Media in Facilitating Training
