Bukidnon State University launched the BukSU Gazette through a video presentation on October 24 during the Institutional Excellence Awarding Ceremony. The launching was spearheaded by the Office of the President, the Information Unit and the Records Management Unit.
The BukSU Gazette is one of the key features of the revised University Code under Article 25. It is established as the official repository of the University’s public documents, including policies, circulars, announcements, and other official communications. Managed by the Records Management Unit, the Gazette ensures the timely publication and accessibility of University information. All University units are required to submit their public documents for inclusion, subject to approval by the University President or a duly authorized representative.
In his message, Mr. Domingo L. Ramirez, Jr., III, head of the Records Management Unit said that the Gazette strengthens the University’s commitment to transparency and good governance. “This platform reflects our dedication to responsible records stewardship and our commitment to making official university issuances accessible to our stakeholders. By centralizing public documents in a single trusted source, we ensure clarity, consistency, and confidence in the information we share.,” he said.

The Gazette can be accessed through the BukSU official website. Its first content features the recently approved University Proclamations, as formalized through Board of Regents Resolution No. 3094 s. 2025.
These University Proclamations include Sustainability Month every October, which promotes environmental stewardship, climate responsibility, and sustainable development practices within the University community; Anlaw ta Binukid every March 23, which celebrates Bukidnon cultural heritage, indigenous identity, and linguistic preservation; Diwa ng Kapatiran Day every December 16, which fosters unity, camaraderie, and mutual respect among members of the BukSU community; and Voices of Faith Day every February 1, which recognizes the diversity of faith traditions and encourages interfaith dialogue, spiritual reflection, and the building of inclusive student environments.
BukSU President Dr. Joy M. Mirasol said that these proclamations reflect the University’s core values and aspirations. “Each proclamation reminds us of who we are as a University community that honors our heritage, respects diversity, promotes solidarity, and upholds our shared responsibility to care for the environment,” she said.
