Bukidnon State University (BukSU) recognized the outstanding commitments to quality assurance and continuous improvement at the Institutional Excellence Awards 2025, facilitated by the Quality Assurance Unit (QAU), held on October 24, 2025, at the BukSU Audio-Visual Center (AVC).

“The Awards aimed to recognize achievements of BukSU units, colleges, and individuals in various quality assurance mechanisms, promote a culture of excellence, and foster institutional pride,” QAU Head Dr. Iris April Ramirez shared.
University President, Dr. Joy M. Mirasol, delivered an address likening the institution to a “steadfast tree, deeply rooted in purpose and ever-reaching toward the light of excellence.”
Mirasol traced the university’s history back to a single vision, a seed of hope to educate, to serve, and to uplift. “This founding principle, nurtured by countless hearts and hands over the years, has allowed BukSU to flourish into a pillar of academic life,” she said.
“Today, that tree stands tall. Its leaves represent many vibrant ideas and innovations. Its branches symbolize strong collaboration and extended influence. Its trunk signifies the firm, shared commitment to core values that keep the institution steady amid change. Its roots represent the lasting, grounded effects on the community,” Mirasol expressed.
The university celebrates institutional achievements, strengthens the morale and motivation of the entire BukSU community, and enhances the culture of quality and excellence that is central to the university’s mission. (BukSU-Information Unit)
