Bukidnon State University (BukSU), in collaboration with Cocoon International College (CIC) in Australia, fosters international partnerships and enhances professional development in early childhood education.
On January 17, 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony took place with the presence of Dr. Joy M. Mirasol- University President, and Cocoon International College delegations headed by Ms. Stacey Kenley CIC RTO Executive Director, accompanied by Ms. Kisses Onahon, CIC Marketing Specialist / Student Ambassador and Ms. Bek Henricksen CIC Training & Compliance Manager. Info sessions will follow at the University Mini Theater. This activity will strengthen global collaboration and offer transformative opportunities to BukSU’s College of Education Early Childhood Educators, fourth-year Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECEd) and Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) pre-service teachers, and the university’s alumni.
This partnership aligns with BukSU’s mission to champion quality education and inspire excellence, setting the stage for transformative opportunities for its stakeholders. The university will start this new collaboration with CIC, which reflects BukSU and CIC’s shared commitment to fostering innovative teaching practices, cultural exchange, and global perspectives in education.
