A private recruitment agency, ABBA Personnel Services Inc., is offering a scholarship program for incoming sophomore students from the College of Nursing at Bukidnon State University.
Known as the Bequest Scholarship Program, three deserving students will receive financial support under this program to aid their pursuit of a nursing degree.
According to ABBA, the scholarship is “to encourage current nursing students to deepen their commitment to the course and attract more incoming college students toward the nursing profession.”
BukSU is ABBA’s first partner outside Metro Manila for their scholarship program, which is part of their corporate social responsibility efforts.
“Choosing BukSU as ABBA’s partner educational institution demonstrates their trust in the excellence of nursing education at BukSU,” said Dr. Judith C. Singcolan, Program Chair for the university’s Student Scholarships and Financial Grants.
Qualified students for the scholarship must come from an economically challenged family with a maximum annual income of P250,000 and must have a general weighted average grade of 2.25 or better with no failing grades in all subjects. (BukSU-Information Unit)
