MALAYBALAY CITY (OP-IPS/06 March 2023) – Bukidnon State University President Dr Joy M. Mirasol has issued an update on an earlier memorandum on the conduct of classes and work reporting scheme in all its campuses due to the nationwide transport strike this week.
Dr. Mirasol issued Memo No. 39, s. 2023, which informed the faculty in the main and satellite campuses to physically report on Wednesday March 8, 2023 and instructed for the return to face-to-face classes on Thursday, March 9, 2023.
The new memo mentioned that midterm examinations will be conducted on March 13-17, 2023.
The University President cited the press statements of various transport groups in Northern Mindanao indicating their non-participation in the nation-wide transport strike.
As of Sunday, the University President issued Memo No. 038, s. 2023 implementing the Flexible Learning Modality during the Nationwide Transport Strike based on a directive from the Commission on Higher Education’s Central Office. (OP-IPS)
