| MALAYBALAY CITY – The Davao Oriental State University Research, Extension, and Innovations Management team visited Bukidnon State University for a partnership and consultancy meeting on February 28, 2023. The primary intention of their visit is to learn from the university’s research and extension policies and journal publication system and discuss possible undertakings. Dr. Misael B. Clapano, DorSU Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Extension, said in the letter addressed to BukSU, that one of their priorities is revising their Research, Innovation, and Extension (RIE) Manual to set up the policy backbone and institutional systems for scientific productivity and community empowerment as well as the practice related to technology transfer. In response to this, Dr. Lesley C. Lubos, Botanical Gardens and Herbarium and Research Director, Dr. Omar C. Tantoy, Asst. to the Research Director, Dr. Jiemalyn C. Paulican, Extension Director, Ms Joanna Ruth S. Paloma, Asst. to the Extension Director, and Dr. Ma. Teresa G. Salumintao, IPTTU Director have welcomed the visitors at the 4th floor of the university’s Research building. BukSU is open to exploring avenues to help other universities develop research and extension programs, which the university could discuss and offer for the development of research and innovation at Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU).
