MALAYBALAY CITY (OP-IPS) An eight-member team from the Davao de Oro State College visited Bukidnon State University’s main campus on May 26, 2022 to benchmark on the Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension, and Innovations and the University Extension Unit.
DDOSC personnel, led by Ms. Rona C. Apolinario, Director of Extension Services, paid a courtesy call at the Office of the President. Mr. Dante S. Victoria, Jr., BukSU Vice President for Administration, Planning and Development, officer-in-charge of the day, attended to the team on behalf of university president Dr. Oscar B. Cabañelez.
VP for Research, Extension, and Innovations Dr. Joy M. Mirasol welcomed the visitors. In the program the university held at the 4th floor Research and Extension Building, Dr. Jiemalyn B. Paulican, BukSU Extension Director, led the presentations, which covered an overview of the Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension and Innovations through a multimedia presentation and the university’s extension unit.
The visitors actively participated in an open forum to cap the program and toured several university units and offices.
Ms. Apolinario, along with their external campus extension heads and staff, thanked the school for immediately responding to their request. They also expressed appreciation for sharing with them beneficial ideas that they may potentially emulate in their own institution as they prepare to update their Extension Manual for 2022.
