Master of Public Administration

Overview

The Master of Public Administration is a graduate academic program focusing on public administration research and preparing students for advanced careers in public and private organizations. MPA students are expected to demonstrate the capacity to effect significant contributions in management and administration for good governance through research and development. The program covers a total of 37 units consisting of Core Courses (9 units), Major (15 units), Cognates (3 units), Electives (3 units), Seminar in thesis writing (1 unit), and Thesis Writing (6 units)

Program Outcomes

At the end of the program, the MPA students are expected to:

  1. Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in public administration for effective, innovative, and ethical implementation of public policy, programs and projects.
  2. Conduct self-directed research in management and administration for innovative and ethical governance safeguarding Cultural Heritage especially the Indigenous Peoples (IPs) in Bukidnon.
  3. Exemplify lifelong learning with a highly substantial degree of independence and appropriate ethical standards involving multisectoral experts in public administration.
  4. Apply relevant skills in research, professional or innovative work in local, regional, national and international arenas advancing innovative thinking and practical ethical standards for the preservation and conservation of Bukidnon Cultural Heritage.
