Bachelor of Elementary Education

Overview

The Bachelor of Elementary Education is a four-year degree program that aims to develop highly motivated and competent teachers specializing in the content and pedagogy for elementary education. The curriculum is designed to equip graduates with knowledge on foundational general education, methodological skills for teaching and learning, communication skills, higher order thinking, innovative and ethical teacher-leadership, and professional values. The program culminates with experiential teaching internship in various cooperating schools, both in public and private, local and international partnerships.

The BEEd degree program aims to develop highly motivated and competent teachers specializing in the content and pedagogy for elementary education.

  1. Demonstrate in-depth understanding of the diversity of learner in various learning areas.
  2. Manifest meaningful and comprehensive pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) of the different subject areas.
