BukSU Lantapan marks second anniversary with website, logo launch

Bukidnon State University (BukSU) Lantapan Campus celebrated its second founding anniversary September 9, 2026, with university officials, faculty members, staff, students and government leaders attending the event.

During the celebration, Campus Head Dr. Shella Amor C. Monsanto presented the campus’ accomplishments during its first two years. The report covered developments involving the university, the local government unit and the provincial government, as well as initiatives involving community service and partnerships.

Campus website launched

One of the initiatives presented during the anniversary was the launch of the campus website, which was developed by the Lantapan Information and Communications Technology Division.

The website, Bantula, is available at https://buksu.lantapan.gov.ph and serves as a platform for campus news, academic achievements, cultural features and other information for students, faculty members and stakeholders.

“Bearing a name that symbolizes connection, Bantula bridges students, faculty, and stakeholders by delivering relevant campus news, academic achievements, and cultural features. The publication stands as a testament to the university’s commitment to transparency, inclusivity, and academic excellence,” said Monsanto.

Campus identity and partnerships

The celebration also included the unveiling of the campus brand logo, which represents the institution’s identity and vision.

The campus recognized its benefactors and institutional partners during the event. Their contributions were cited in relation to educational programs and collaboration among the university and other stakeholders.

Meanwhile, Bukidnon Provincial Board Member Bobby Jay Dinlayan donated sports equipment for student athletic programs. The donation will support campus sports activities and programs related to student health, physical well-being and youth development.

Lantapan Municipal Mayor Ricky James D. Balansag and Vice Mayor Ernie R. Devibar attended the celebration.

Bukidnon Provincial Board members Marlon B. Dinlayan and Atty. Hollis C. Monsanto also joined the event. Messages from Provincial Governor Rogelio Neil Roque and Vice Governor Clive D. Quiño were delivered during the program.

Government officials reiterated their support for BukSU Lantapan’s efforts to reduce inequalities and promote sustainable development in the province. (Dr. Shella Amor C. Monsanto, Campus Head, BukSU Lantapan Campus)
