Bukidnon State University (BukSU) served as the venue for the provincial culmination of Handog ng Pangulo 2026, with about 3,000 participants and beneficiaries at the BukSU Gymnasium on September 14, 2026.
The event was part of a synchronized nationwide operation implemented with the support of the Office of the President under the “Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat” framework.
Conceptualized and implemented in 2024, the initiative institutionalizes responsive, inclusive, and citizen-centric governance through the multi-sectoral convergence of public service delivery mechanisms, social assistance infrastructure, and inter-agency outreach programs across local government jurisdictions.

“Today reminds us of a simple but important truth: for public service to matter, it must reach the people for whom it is intended,” said BukSU President Dr. Joy M. Mirasol. “Behind every program is a person. Behind every statistic is a family. And behind every government initiative is an opportunity to make someone’s circumstances a little better.”
During the event, various government agencies provide direct service rollouts, program distribution, and community engagement activities to bridge government resources directly to the people of Bukidnon.
“Our institutions may have different mandates, but we do not have separate purposes. When government agencies, local governments, educational institutions, and communities work together, we make public service more accessible, responsive, and meaningful,” Mirasol added.
The provincial local government units were designated as primary operational facilitators, tasked with providing critical technical assistance, logistical infrastructure, and administrative support to optimize the implementation efficiency and outreach capabilities of inter-agency programs within their respective territorial jurisdictions.
