BukSU is now authorized to offer Doctor of Medicine Program starting AY 2026-2027

Faculty personnel of the College of Medicine.

Bukidnon State University has been granted the Government Permit to offer the Doctor of Medicine program, pursuant to the Commission on Higher Education Commission en banc Resolution No. 856-2025.

The University is authorized to offer the Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program for the 1st and 2nd year levels, starting in Academic Year 2026–2027.

This achievement marks a historic step toward producing compassionate, competent, and community-centered physicians rooted in BukSU’s commitment to quality, accessibility, and service to the people.


BukSU extends its heartfelt gratitude to the BukSU Board of Regents headed by Hon. Commissioner Desiderio R. Apag III, CHED Commissioner and Chair of the BukSU Board of Regents, for his guidance and commitment to higher education excellence, and to Hon. Jonathan Keith T.
