The Bukidnon State University (BukSU) Client Care Center, represented by its Head, Dr. Richard Ian Mark T. Necosia, and staff member Ms. Demi Lorenz F. Jover, participated in the General Orientation on RA 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018 and other ARTA compliance measures held on November 14, 2024, via Zoom.
Organized by the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA), the orientation aimed to deepen the understanding of government offices on the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Law and streamline compliance efforts.
Salient features of RA 11032 were discussed, emphasizing the law’s fundamental provisions and implications for government operations. The discussions highlighted the Citizen’s Charter, focusing on the importance of creating transparent, citizen-centered government processes.
The National Policy on Regulatory Management System emphasized the role of regulatory management in enhancing efficiency, while the Zero Backlog Program (ZBP) defined strategies to eliminate delays in service delivery.
The Whole-of-Government (WOG) Reengineering Plan outlined collaborative efforts to optimize processes across agencies.
Additional topics such as the Committee on Anti-Red Tape (CART), handling complaints, the Client Satisfaction Measurement Report (CSMR), the Report Card Survey 2.0, and the Electronic Business One-Stop Shop (EBOSS) provided practical insights and tools to improve service delivery and ensure accountability.
This orientation is particularly timely as the BukSU Client Care Center is currently in the process of reengineering the BukSU Citizens Charter.
This initiative aligns with the university’s mission to uphold efficiency, transparency, and accountability in governance, ensuring the institution’s responsiveness to the needs of its stakeholders. (Demi Lorenz F. Jover/ Staff, Client Care Center)
