Three graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Food Technology program at Bukidnon State University passed the Professional Food Technologist (PFT) Licensure Examination, which was conducted on August 22, 2024.
These passers are Jollivie Y. Jaum, MSc, PFT; Jezza Niña Marie T. Vega, PFT; and Chriselda Babe M. Adami, RChT, PFT.
The Professional Regulation Commission announced that 510 out of 995 passed the Food Technologists Licensure Examination given by the Board of Food Technology in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cebu, and Davao.
According to BukSU’s Food Technology Department (FTD), under the College of Technologies, these successful passers demonstrated the perseverance and high quality of the education they received from the university.
“BukSU has long been dedicated to developing graduates that are not only prepared for the challenges of the food industry but also have the skills and knowledge to be leaders in their fields,” said FTD Head Ms. Genessa Jesy T. Pagote.
“These new generation of professional Food Technologists, carries the virtues of honesty, innovation, and commitment to society. The future of food science and technology shines bright as these young talents provide a safer, more efficient, and sustainable food environment,” Pagote added.
