MALAYBALAY CITY – Dr. Rene M. Chavez, Chairperson of Automotive Technology Department, received the “Asia’s Man of Influence in the Field of Education” and “Most Exemplary Educator of the Year” awards during the 7th Asia Pacific Luminare Awarding Ceremony at the Grand Ballroom, Okada Manila on May 24, 2023.
The Asia-Pacific Luminare Award is an international award-giving organization, which aimed to acknowledge and reward the achievement of significant figures in Asia-Pacific Region from different trades such as Showbiz and Entertainment, Politics and Government, Business, Arts, Culture, and Academe among others.
The “Man of Influence in the Field of Education” award acknowledges his ability to inspire and drive positive change, while the “Most Exemplary Educator of the Year” award celebrates his dedication, passion, and exemplary achievements in the field.
The 7th Asia Pacific Luminare Awards recognized his visionary leadership, outstanding pedagogical practices, and unwavering commitment to transforming lives through education. His tireless commitment to education and his transformative impact on countless lives have made him a role model for educators.
