BukSU delegates emerge champions at PAFT Summit 2026

Delegates from Bukidnon State University (BukSU) participated in the Philippine Association of Food Technologists Student Summit 2026, held on April 7–8, 2026, at Central Mindanao University.

Anchored on the theme “LAMBU: Leveraging and Advancing Mindanao’s Bounty by Upskilling the Future Food Technologist,” the two-day summit gathered food technology students from across Mindanao to engage in academic discussions, innovation-driven activities, and inter-university collaboration.

The event featured plenary sessions from industry and academic experts, providing insights into food systems, sensory evaluation, product development, and internationalization.

Participants showcased their competencies through product development and pitching, quiz bowl, talent presentations, and team-based challenges.

Among the highlights of the summit was BukSU’s remarkable performance in the competitive events, where the university emerged as champion in both the Got Talent and Amazing Race competitions, underscoring the delegates’ creativity, teamwork, and competitive excellence.
