The Information Technology (IT) Department of Bukidnon State University (BukSU) further strengthened its industry partnerships through a series of Memoranda of Agreement (MOA) signings and a renewal of collaboration with industry partners this February 2026.
On February 9, 2026, BukSU signed a MOA with Emottoons Animation Studio in Lapu-Lapu City. The agreement was signed with Philmore Amodia, CEO and Founder of Emottoons Animation Studio, marking a significant milestone in expanding opportunities for students in animation and multimedia production.
On February 10, 2026, BukSU also formalized its partnership with Infinity Hub in Davao City. The MOA was signed with Michael Angelo A. Bernales, Marketing Supervisor of Infinity Hub, further strengthening BukSU’s collaboration with the IT industry sector in Mindanao.
The series of partnership engagements concluded on February 12, 2026, with the signing of a MOA with GridLock Games in Pasig City. The agreement was formalized with Patrick Odale Roxas, CEO and Executive Producer of GridLock Games, opening further avenues for students in game development and interactive media.
In addition, the University renewed its Memorandum of Agreement with Rocket Sheep Post Production Inc., represented by David Liongoren, Owner and Director. The renewal reinforces the continuing partnership and sustained collaboration in providing industry immersion opportunities for students.
The MOA signing and renewal activities were facilitated and coordinated by Louie Jay S. Labastida, IT Internship Coordinator, and Marilou O. Espina, EMC Internship Coordinator, who led the discussions and formalized the agreements with the respective industry representatives.
These partnerships aim to expand internship placements for BukSU’s Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) and Bachelor of Science in Entertainment and Multimedia Computing (BSEMC) students. Through these collaborations, students are provided with hands-on industry exposure, real-world project experience, and professional mentorship in the fields of information technology, animation, post-production, and game development.
