Bukidnon State University (BukSU) convened the 3rd Quarter Regular Meetings of its Academic Council and Administrative Council to deliberate on key institutional matters covering instruction, research, extension, innovation, finance, and administration.
The Academic Council met on October 3, 2025, in a hybrid format at the University Auditorium and via Zoom. The council discussed updates on academic programs, faculty and human resource development, scholarship applications, and linkages with partner institutions. Proposals related to research, extension, and gender and development initiatives were likewise presented for endorsement.
Meanwhile, the Administrative Council met face-to-face on October 6, 2025, at the University Audio Visual Center. Discussions centered on financial and administrative concerns, infrastructure and procurement matters, personnel policies, and institutional initiatives supporting operational efficiency and sustainability.
In her message, University President Dr. Joy M. Mirasol emphasized the importance of participatory governance and shared accountability in institutional decision-making.
“Every recommendation and discussion in our councils reflects our collective commitment to sustain quality education, responsible management of resources, and meaningful service to our stakeholders,” Dr. Mirasol said.
The matters raised and endorsed during both council meetings will be forwarded to the BukSU Board of Regents for confirmation and approval. These regular meetings affirm the University’s commitment to transparency, collaboration, and continuous institutional development. (Ms. Joanne Vivien B.
