
Bukidnon State University recognized a total of 330 students from its Elementary Laboratory School (ELS) and Secondary Laboratory School (SLS) for academic excellence during the 1st Convocation Programs on October 31, 2024.
Students were awarded Certificates of Recognition for achieving “ππͺπ΅π© ππ°π―π°π³π΄” or “ππͺπ΅π© ππͺπ¨π© ππ°π―π°π³π΄” based on their Grade Point Averages (GPAs) from the first grading period of the academic year.
The ELS honored the achievements of 130 students who received “ππͺπ΅π© ππ°π―π°π³π΄” recognition, while the SLS recognized 187 students with “ππͺπ΅π© ππ°π―π°π³π΄” and 13 students with “ππͺπ΅π© ππͺπ¨π© ππ°π―π°π³π΄.”
To qualify as “ππͺπ΅π© ππ°π―π°π³π΄,” students must maintain a GPA between 90% and 94%, while the “ππͺπ΅π© ππͺπ¨π© ππ°π―π°π³π΄” distinction is awarded to those with GPAs ranging from 95% to 97%.
According to SLS Department Head, Ms. Desiree A. Barroso, these achievements signify that 50.13% of the high school population of 373 students attained the “ππͺπ΅π© ππ°π―π°π³π΄” distinction, while 3.48% earned the designation of “ππͺπ΅π© ππͺπ¨π© ππ°π―π°π³π΄.”
