The Alubijid Campus of Bukidnon State University (BukSU) organized a seminar-workshop to improve communication strategies for students and faculty in enhancing the campus’ online presence on September 25, 2024.
BukSU’s Information Unit personnel facilitated the activity as part of its InfoCamp lecture series.
The seminar-workshop featured several sessions: videography skills led by IU’s cinematographer, Mr. Engelbert V. Cabunoc; introduction to social media and website publication by Information Officer II, Mr. John Dale S. Belderol; a refresher on technical writing by Dr. Joana Ruth S. Paloma; and a lecture on content writing by Information Officer I, Ms. Nova Thirdy E. Agravante.
Following the presentations, the students participated in a workshop on news writing. The outputs of the workshop were evaluated and reviewed for further enhancement.
The InfoCamp is an initiative aimed at firming up the foundations of the writing styles, strategic communication, and branding of BukSU across all its campuses.
