Bukidnon State University’s College of Medicine completed an onsite review conducted by the Commission on Higher Education’s Regional Quality Assurance Team (RQAT) to determine the university’s readiness to offer its Doctor of Medicine program.
The team examined twelve (12) areas required for a permit to operate the program. These include governance, curriculum, faculty composition, physical and instructional facilities, and other compliance components.
The review covered document evaluation, interviews with university personnel, and an onsite inspection of the College of Medicine’s learning spaces and support resources.
The evaluation team was led by Dr. Arlita Amapola B. Minguez, Chief Education Program Supervisor of CHED Regional Office X in Cagayan de Oro City. She was joined by two medical education officials: Dr. Myra Maria V. Peralta, Dean of the College of Medicine at Xavier University, and Dr. Jose Dante D. Estandarte, Dean of the College of Medicine at Liceo de Cagayan University.
