Bukidnon State University through the Office of the Registrar and the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs presented and awarded the 1,388 deanโs listers today at the University Gymnasium with the theme โFrom Challenges to Champions: Celebrating Resilient Excellenceโ.
Guest speaker Ms. Rona Macalam, a BukSU alumna and faculty member of the Philosophy Department in BukSU, shared three important lessons for the deanโs listers.
โFirst, find your circle and be wise because they are your pillars of support. They are your companions in celebrating your success. Second, always remember your why. When you feel like failing, remind yourself why you started in the first place. Lastly, always remember to pray. Keep the faith and seek for guidance and wisdom to carry on.โ
Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA), Dr. Hazel Jean M. Abejuela, delivered the closing message announcing that next year will be a different kind of choosing the deanโs listers. It will not only be measured by the grades but also by the learning experiences of the students. The Reading of the Deanโs List Second Semester 2022-2023 was facilitated by the University Registrar, Mr. Brian Thomas D. Taga, sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) led by the college dean, Dr. Maribel G. Valdez. (Information Unit)
