Bukidnon State University’s Office of the Registrar announced a total of 1,388 Dean’s Listers for the second semester of the school year 2022-2023.
The students who qualified for the Dean’s List have no grade below 2.0 with a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 1.75 and above.
Dean’s List students are qualified to receive a stipend amounting to P2,500 and P1,500, depending on their GWA.
Fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Development Communication student Raph Jesthony A. Cainglet said that being part of the Dean’s List was unexpected, given that he was a returnee student.
“I just did my best last semester and tried harder to have good grades and to beat the deadlines of our projects,” he said.
Cainglet added that this feat boosted his confidence at the thought of being able to make it to the Dean’s List regardless of being a returnee.
“There is always a chance to be on the Dean’s List, so never give up,” he said.
He also extended his message to other students who also wanted to be on the Dean’s List.
“Never give up and just continue doing your best while, at the same time, enjoying your college days,” he said. BukSU ensures that every student’s hard work and dedication to academic excellence are recognized and rewarded. This is another testament to the university’s goal of Smart Students—the holistic development of students in diverse programs and fields. (Information Unit)
